It’s a sad day for us at Sophos, and our friends at Astaro, as Jack Daniel is leaving us.
I won’t beat around the bush, when I heard that Sophos was planning to acquire Astaro one of the things I was most excited about was the prospect of working alongside Jack.
All of us who work at SophosLabs were looking forward to learning from Jack, and I know that I was definitely anticipating getting him writing for us here on Naked Security, sharing his knowledge, experience and expertise with our readers.
However, Jack’s been offered a fantastic new opportunity he couldn’t refuse at Tenable, in its product management department. You can read more about this in a blog post by Jack himself.
So although we’re gutted to be losing you Jack, congratulations on your new position! Our loss is their gain, and I know you’ll do well.
We’re sorry to see you go. You’re a great chap (and Tenable is a lucky company!), and here’s wishing you every success at your new job.
Although I and the rest of the Naked Security team are sorry to see you going (you would have made our team photos look 100x cooler for one thing), we’ll be watching what you get up to with interest.
